About us So, as we approach that fateful day when the bars don't close, and the shadow of dance fever enshrouds every dance floor in america, we, the Crackhead Otakus, say don't fear. Its the Apocalypse and we left our Eva's at home. You try 78stopping THAT.
In other news, a message from the President:
"I don't want to lose your love... tonight."
No, really.
Seeing as how it is now the last days of 2002, I am suddenly hit with a nostalgia for the events of the past few hours. All that music, all the cars, the drugs, the killing, the economy, and oh-all-that-Bangles!
Thats right... THE 80'S Thats what I'm talking about. When anime was cheap, cars were fast, and everyone's street was a virtual zoo of new hairstyles. Anywho, I am getting an earful of new things coming into mainstream. Although this is good, people tend to forget what came first. So, as this era ends, look back...
Thats right! Dwell on it! 'Cuz when that ball drops, its time to let it slip away and start something new.
So, as 2k3 dawns, instead of going for that shiny newfangled, "lazer" reflecting "Digital Video Disc" thingy, dust off your VHS (or, if you're lucky, BETA) and chill out to an old classic. BGC, Vampire Hunter D, Galaxy Express 999, Project AKO, Urusei Yatsura, or even Crusher Joe [CRUSH!!!!]. They all show where anime has been, and 2k2 showed where it is, logically, 2k3 will involve improvements in monkeys.
Oh yes, GTA: Vice City ROCKS!
Happy New Years everyone, sorry, but I drank all the Fujisawa Punch already...
